About Mercurius Tour
Mercurius Tour is a Cluj-Napoca–based travel agency specialising in Transylvania, with over 20 years’ trusted experience designing and delivering well-planned journeys across Romania and the wider Carpathian region. We work with travellers and professionals who want to understand Eastern Europe beyond the surface—comfortably, safely, and with meaningful local insight.
We are a reliable, enthusiastic, professionally trained team living in Transylvania. Our work is rooted in local knowledge, strong on-the-ground coordination, and programmes that combine cultural depth with the restorative power of nature. We aim to guide you out of everyday pressure—sometimes hard, sometimes unforgiving—into a world close to landscapes, traditions, and real human stories.
“Only those can bear happiness who share it.
Light becomes a blessing only in those who give some of it to others.”
— Béla Hamvas
Our mission
- To organise experience-rich heritage and nature journeys with substance and clarity
- To present Transylvania, Romania, and the Carpathian Basin through history, culture, landscapes, and people
- To support deeper understanding of the region’s communities and cultural worlds—alongside Hungarian heritage, also the wider mosaic of nations and minorities living here
- To keep nature at the heart of the programme: not as an add-on, but as something that restores, inspires, and “washes the soul clean”

What “Mercurius” means
Mercurius is the protector of travellers in Roman mythology, later closely linked with the Greek Hermes. He is associated with travellers, merchants, eloquence, and messages—often depicted with winged sandals and a messenger’s staff.
Our pricing philosophy
We follow the principle of the three-legged stool: the traveller, the service provider, and the organiser are equally important. If one “leg” is out of proportion, the result is uncomfortable for everyone. We aim for balance and fairness—because genuine value for money is how all sides respect one another.
If you want, paste your current webpage section headings (or the page layout), and I’ll format this into a ready-to-publish structure (hero intro + short sections + call-to-action) while keeping the same British International tone.
